Who is The Hurricane?
His journey into the world of combat sports began with a simple introduction to the art of Taekwondo by his father. His passion for the sport was immediate and profound. He dedicated countless hours to training, eventually earning himself a black belt and multiple accolades, including championships in Latvia, the Baltic States, and across Europe.
His success in Taekwondo led him to venture into kickboxing, where his astounding abilities continued to flourish. At the age of 13, he began participating in dual rules kickboxing. In little over a year, he had triumphed in seven bouts in a single day to secure the world champion title in Italy. By 15, he was a European champion.
However, his impressive ascent in the world of kickboxing was abruptly halted in 2015 when he suffered a devastating leg break just 17 seconds into his first fight at the KOC World Championship Fight Show.
The injury turned his head to boxing, and he’s not looked back since.
