About the contract
One of the leading gaming solutions supplier and operator active in 57 regulated jurisdictions worldwide Intralot has publicly announced the signing of a contract worth $340 million on a 10-year period for supplying the Illinois State Lottery. Although founded in 1974, the Illinois Lottery is a state agency with annual sales over $2 billion. Since its inception, the Lottery has contributed more than $16 billion to the state Common School Fund to assist K-12 public schools.
The deal between the Intralot and Camelot Illinois LLC will last until October 2027 and obligate INTRALOT to distribute and install their technology in more than 7,500 retail locations across the state.
Camelot Illinois has been awarded the contract as the new private manager of the Illinois Lottery. The company is restoring transparency, integrity, and responsibility to the Illinois Lottery. In partnership with the state, Camelot will operate a modern lottery that truly benefits the people of Illinois. The online gaming supplier will respect the implement their services and show respect to the Private Management Agreement (PMA) between the Department of the Lottery of State of Illinois and CAMELOT Illinois LLC.
However, one of the key products that will be included are Photo terminal, a clerk-operated lottery terminal which is a lightweight, wireless handheld POS terminal that is capable to serve the needs of the dynamic worldwide market, and Genion terminal which is developed in Intralot’s labs and is built around a new generation processor with embedded hardware accelerated graphics which ensures high processing power and full display capabilities when used as an agent or a player-operated terminal. Its small friendly sized full-color TFT touch-screen interface supports user’s Interaction and although Genion is compact in size, it can carry a selection of card readers and a 2D barcode reader. Among, the products Intralot will include also terminal called WinStation 30 (Win30) into the Illinois market.
