New CEO Takes Over Betway

A New CEO Settles In BetwayBetway, the European sports betting and online casino operator have just recently announced that they are appointing Anthony Werkman to a CEO of the company and he would replace Richard Akitt.
Werkman is working as the company director of Marketing in Betway for the past 4 years, however, he has been working in the gaming industry for over 15 years.
The position change comes after Richard Akitt has been offered a chairman position after being the CEO for the past 5 years.
Betway’s current primary bases are in Malta and Guernsey. They are supported by offices in London, Stockholm, Capetown, and Isle of Man and are currently employing more than 1000 people. Betway is currently licensed in Malta, UK, Spain, Italy, Denmark, Ireland, Germany, and Belgium.
Richard Akitt, the now former CEO and new chairman of Betway has given a statement and says: “It’s been a privilege to be CEO of Betway for the last five years, but the time is right for me to hand over the reins to Anthony.” 
“I look forward to continuing our excellent working relationship and being closely involved in the strategic direction of the business going forward.” 
On the other hand, the brand new CEO of Betway, Anthony Werkman states that he is honored to take the CEO role of the company at such an interesting and exciting time for the company.
He states: “Richard and I have worked closely together over the last few years and I look forward to continuing to work with him in his new role as Chairman. 

“We have experienced an incredible period of growth over the past few years and are determined to make sure that trajectory continues.” 
It just seems like the new Chairman and CEO of Betway are going to get along just fine as they already have a great history in Betway together. We can wish them both good luck in their future endeavors and see the results of their collaboration.
