The fourth casino in Empire State's is planning to open its gates to the public in the first quarter of 2018, said the Acting Executive Director of the New York State Gaming Commission, Ron Ochrym.
The casino in New York will be called Resorts World Catskills and the casino will have comprehensive 100,000 sq.ft gaming area with 2,150 slot machines and 130 table games.
The Executive, Ochrym stated that the developments of the construction work on the assets are almost finished, and with the arriving of the slot machines at the venue will be given the final touch.
The brand new Resorts World Catskills will be joining the three existing casinos, Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady at Mohawk Harbor in Schenectady, del Lago Resort & Casino located in Waterloo and Tioga Downs Casino located in Nichols.
The building of the new casino in New York is well planned in back 2013 by the New York voters along with the Gaming Facility Location Board proposing the construction of up to four casinos in the district.
Tioga Downs racetrack and slots parlor, parallel with the construction of the fourth casino Resorts World Catskills, is transforming into a full-scale gambling venue.
