The board of Scientific Games, a company that designs interactive and instant lottery games has appointed a new director. Kneeland C. Youngblood will assume the position. Youngblood, who is also a founding partner and Chairman of Pharos Capital Group, a private equity firm which invests $25 to $50 million in growing healthcare companies, will serve on the compliance committee of the board as well as the compensation committee.
He is also a member of the council on Foreign Relations and a trustee of the Dallas Police and Fire Pension system. In addition to these positions, Kneeland C. Youngblood is also a director of Mallinckrodt plc, a company that produces specialty pharmaceutical products that include imaging agents and generic drugs.
Scientific Games has been in the business of developing and supplying casino
, retail and digital products for 85 years. The company has four operating divisions: gaming, lottery, digital and social.
