The fearless Vikings are back for their biggest battle yet, as they take on the flaming demon hordes of the underworld! After two successful installments, Vikings are back for the third time. In the latest installment, Vikings are battling demons in the underworld. After fighting some of the lesser demons in the base game, the crew will have to face overlords in the underworld in the Free Spins. Eventually, they will have to battle the greatest demon, Lucifix [sic] himself.

There are four weapon symbols along with four Viking symbols that appear the most often. These symbols, if lined up on a payline will earn coins, but where the truly large gains come, is after a free spin is triggered. More on that later. In addition to these symbols, there is also a wild symbol that can substitute for the others on a payline. There are also Scatter symbols, and if three or more of them appear at the same time on the screen, a Free Spin mode is triggered, which means going to the underworld. There is also a Treasure Chest that only appears on the fifth reel. This symbol will award free spins, coins, collections boosts or extra Wilds.
The control panel on the bottom has the following buttons that you should understand before starting to play. Coin Value button shows the value of coins in real money. You can adjust this number with the plus and minus buttons on the sides. Max Bet button is pretty self-explanatory. It sets the maximum amount that you can bet in a game. Then there is the usual spin button in the shape of a round arrow and a similar button that sets Autoplay options. Once you click the button it will show options of how many spins to automate. Boxes on the right show the amount of winnings on a spin and the total balance
The base game is pretty standard. For each spin, if three similar symbols line up on a payline coins are awarded. Wilds can substitute for any symbol. These winnings are not very sizable. Instead, it is in the demon fights that the true coins can be made. When two Scatters appear on any real a random Viking will enter a fighting mode. If the Viking wins it will turn into a Sticky WIld and will receive a Rage Point. This is quite a nice feature found in this Vikings Go To Hell Slot review.
Every Viking has his/her own Rage Points meter. Once these points reach 100, the Viking will be awarded 7 Berzerk Free Spins. Rage Points can be earned by landing Wilds and Treasure Chests. A random Viking will be awarded points in the beginning of the game as well.
Besides the Berzerk Free Spins, Free Spins mode can be triggered several other ways. This is where a player really starts to earn coins. Level 1 Free Spin Mode can be triggered if three or more Scatters appear or if the Treasure Chest awards it. In this mode, Vikings will fight smaller demons. If a Viking defeats a demon it will become a sticky Wild for the rest of the spins in the mode.
Main goal in this case is to defeat the Lord of the Chains. Three bars on the top of the screen denote his health and each hit reduces it by one. Once the Lord of the Chains is defeated the player is awarded Level 2 Spins. In this mode the main purpose is to defeat Lucifix [sic]. Just like the Lord of the Chains, Lucifix will appear on a reel at each spin and will fight a Viking. If Lucifix is defeated, all of the winnings in the Free Spins mode will be tripled.
Although it sounds complicated, the game is easy for anyone who has played the previous two installments. It is fun, with cool graphics and with all the bonuses and modes player never gets bored. The animations also deserve a mention. The fights with demons are depicted in a cool and fun manner with the symbols coming to life. Main way to earn real coins is in the Free Spins modes, which will not happen often, especially the Level 2 one. But once a player enters ‘the underworld’, gains could be very large.
This is definitely a game for someone who enjoys slots and also enjoys the process. With the storylines and graphics it is unlikely that a player will get bored anytime soon.
