888 to Represent ORYX Gaming in the UK
ORYX Gaming that belongs to Bragg Gaming Group is representing its software in the UK for the first time after joining 888casino. Only a few weeks after obtaining its license in the UK, ORYX is in the game, conquering the new grounds.
Overview of the Vendor
Let’s learn more details about the parties involved in this partnership.
Bragg Gaming Group is known as a global group focused on gaming technologies, be it slots manufacturing or providing B2B services. ORYX Gaming is Bragg’s wholly-owned subsidiary, and it boasts a bunch of solutions, such as RGS (in-house remote games server) and ORYX Hub distribution platform. In addition to all these solutions, ORYX is also known for the amazing games the vendor delivers.
888casino is also a strong player in this market. The brand was founded in 1997 and is known for providing perfect services regarding gambling, betting, and creating platforms for poker and bingo. Section8 is the company’s personal in-house content studio. Among the awards the company earned, you can find ‘Casino Operator of the Year’ received in the 2020 Gaming Intelligence Awards.
More Things About the Deal
Thanks to this deal, a bunch of exclusive RGS-based games from ORYX have been added to the catalog of 888casino aimed at British players. This catalog will include products from ORYX’s in-house studios, including Gamomat. In addition to this, the UK players will also be able to launch Egyptian Magic, the title that is represented by Atomic Slot Lab, Bragg’s soon-to-launch studio.
Actually, it’s not the first time Bragg is working with 888, and this collaboration provided more opportunities for the integration of ORYX’s content across a group of 888casino’s platforms in European gambling markets.
And as launching its titles on the UK market is more difficult, this result shows that ORYX has enough facilities to meet the British regulator’s requirements. Last month, the vendor obtained the British license, and this allows the company to operate legally through the entire British market, which is extremely beneficial for any gambling brand out there.
This position is also beneficial for the country as, according to the UKGC report, the Gross Gambling Yield (GGY) for the online sector in the last fiscal year was £6.9bn (approx. US $9.2bn), and online casino games dominate, covering two-thirds of this amount.
Chris Looney, Chief Commercial Officer at Bragg, said:
Through 888casino’s extensive customer base in the UK, we will be able to introduce our content to a wide range of players and bring a new level of excitement and entertainment to the market.
He also added that it’s a great opportunity for Bragg to expand its presence on more markets, especially when the partnership is signed with 888, the brand that is in good standing and can be called a reliable partner.
Talya Benyamini who acts as VP B2C Casino at 888 said:
We are excited to expand our partnership with ORYX Gaming and we look forward to building on this partnership.
She added that the games their platform receives after striking this partnership are carefully manufactured and packed with options to entertain their customers and this aligns with the company’s leadership strategy.
