2. Your VR casino studio features elements like AI-powered body tracking and immersive environments. What inspired these design choices, and how do they enhance the overall gaming experience for users?

It was a spontaneous idea without fully understanding if we could do it. From the initial concept, we started extensive research in the AI field. I always knew that we can’t just create animated avatars that repeat the same pre-animated movements and call it an immersive virtual casino. Currently, we have a body tracking system that can transfer data from a camera feed to a 3D avatar in the studio. With this avatar, a live dealer can run the show. This product is still in development, but we have some public beta showcase materials. Our main focus right now is to maximize the VR experience and then add AI features.

3. With the integration of VR, TRIION Gaming aims to replicate a land-based casino experience online. What kind of user experience were you aiming to achieve, and how does VR help cater to different player preferences?

When players appear in the studio with their VR avatar, they can find slot machines, a bar, and other casino-related attributes. You can walk through the studio and play different slot games, see other people playing around you, share winnings, experiences, and just have fun.

4. The visuals and audio in your VR casinos are quite impressive. Could you share some insights into the development process and how these elements contribute to creating an immersive and realistic gaming environment?

It all starts from a sketch, like a kid drawing on paper. Once the basics are complete, we send everything with notes to our 3D design team to start visualizing and building everything we had in mind. After the shapes are ready, the models go to the level designer who puts all the parts together, adds textures, sets up lighting, and then the last stop is the developers. They take the project file with the finished studio and add code for games and other entertainment. All these steps are necessary because only with careful attention to detail can we develop an online experience that feels like a land-based one.

5. User feedback is crucial in developing new technologies. How has the community responded to TRIION Gaming’s VR offerings, and what adjustments or improvements have been made based on this feedback?

With our product, we serve many different audiences, including gamers. Gamers are always hungry for content. They want more advanced physics, gameplay, etc. From our end, we are trying to include everything possible while maintaining balance because our main goal is not to create a VR game; we are developing VR casinos.
