Mustang Rush: An Exclusive Interview with Mancala Gaming’s Masters of the Wild West
1. Your new game “Mustang Rush” feels like a real dynamite detonation in the slots world — it's been a while since we've seen such a masterpiece on the Wild West theme from you guys! What inspired you to bring this standout title to life?

Kidding. Let’s not use AI for this interview! Sorry for the mistakes. Back to your question, I think in the iGaming world, there are a few themes that are considered must-haves for any game provider, and the Wild West is one of them. And you know, money is a good inspirational tool.
2. Every spin in Mustang Rush feels like a high-speed chase across the Grand Canyon. What specific game elements or design choices do you think are key to creating that immersive vibe?
It is a combination of elements and choices. You can’t perfectly make just one piece of the game. It will not work. If your math is great, but animations are boring, it will be just a game, not THE game! THE game is when everything is perfect! This vibe is from a simple idea: every spin should be fun. I think our studio is close to perfection right now, every release is a masterpiece, and Mustang Rush is an exceptional example.
3. The Hold and EARN bonus mechanic isn’t the most common choice in today’s slot landscape. What led you to choose it for “Mustang Rush”, and how does it change the race for players?
First, Hold and EARN is great! Second, this mechanic is so good for the Wild West theme because it’s like a race! Third, we have many games with Hold and Earn mechanics, and with every new game, we make it better and better. One day it was Buffalo goes Wild, Book of Wealth III, now it’s Mustang Rush.
4. In your view, is the jackpot a must-have element that a Wild West slot needs to reflect the gold rush time?
Not necessarily, but it is very good to have. The idea of jackpots is very close to the Wild West. But you know what could be better? Wild West theme with progressive jackpots! We have to think about it. Mustang Rush with Progressive Jackpots!
5. Westerns have always symbolised freedom, adventure, and the thrill of taking risks — pure mirroring of slots! Do you think that’s what makes it such a timeless and endless theme for casino players?
Yes, I think it’s one of the reasons. It's simple, it’s risky, it’s fun! People have always had a thing for Wild West movies (my favourites are with Clint Eastwood), for the same reason they play slots.
6. Mustangs, bald eagles, bounty hunters and cowgirls. If you had lived during the Wild West era, what kind of character do you think your team would have been and why?
Oh, I’m definitely a Gambler character, maybe a slightly drunk one who bet all his gold trying to win the good life! But when it comes to the whole Mancala team, we’re like a complete Wild West movie. We've got all kinds of characters, and we’re chasing our dream — to catch that money train and take down the Sheriff.
