We recently sat down with Connor Blinman, Head of Games at Gaming Corps, to discuss their exciting new game, Wet and Wild Beavers A-MAZE-CADES. Despite being a small game development company, Gaming Corps has made a big splash in the iGaming industry, creating popular and innovative games such as Destino Das Almas, Wild Woof, and Samba Soccer.

In our discussion, Connor shares details of their latest games, the future of this new mechanic, and the company’s plans for 2025.

Connor Blinman, Head of Games at Gaming Corps

1. Gaming Corps has just released a new game, Wet and Wild Beavers A-MAZE-CADES. Where did the idea for this slot come from?

Our main motivation behind this game was that we were looking for a new mechanic with lots of possibilities. Believe it or not, the idea came from a discussion in a pub!

Our mathematician Jon had an idea for having beavers involved in a brand-new mechanic and the idea grew from there, over a couple of drinks with the team. We then took that idea and created the innovative game that we’ve now just released.

2. Tell us about this A-MAZE-CADES mechanic. How does it work exactly?

This mechanic allows us to create very entertaining games, ones in which it’s almost impossible to predict where the next win is going to come, all because of the mazey route taken by the symbols as the game plays out.

The A-MAZE-CADES mechanic is tied to Wet and Wild Beavers’ 5x5 grid, which runs from the top-right corner to the bottom left.

With each winning combination, where the paylines pay left-to-right, the symbols that won are removed and the grid fills inwards towards the bottom-left corner, which is a unique twist on the cascading mechanic.

Wet and Wild Beavers slot The ambitious complexity of the mechanic creates a game that feels entirely fresh and new.

3. You’ve clearly created an exciting mechanic – what other emotions are you hoping to make players feel when they use A-MAZE-CADES?

We want to surprise people, making them feel like they’re experiencing something they’ve never seen before. One great feature of Wet and Wild Beavers is that the average spin length offers great value for money, which means players should really enjoy spending time on the game.

Players will soon realise that they have to get the Beaver to move towards the exit, and so they’ll feel a sense of accomplishment when they achieve this, much more than in standard slots where you’re just chasing three scatters.

4. Are you going to roll out this new mechanic in future games?

We definitely aim to create more A-MAZE-CADES products in future. We want to use different themes and put an A-MAZE-CADES twist on them, to really mix things up and to keep surprising and delighting our players.

5. Gaming Corps had a busy 2024, so what do your plans for 2025 look like?

Our team never wants to rest and just enjoy its success. They always want to keep moving forward, innovating and creating and improving both the quality and quantity of our products to keep up with the appetites and demands of players everywhere.

We always aim to grow year-on-year and 2025 is no different, so we have big plans to fulfil our ambitions.

The end result will be that our players will be getting even better games from Gaming Corps in 2025.

Conclusion

It was great to get a chance to speak to Connor about this exciting new game and the future of Gaming Corps leading into 2025. The Wet and Wild Beavers A-MAZE-CADES slot game is already featured at several top online casinos nationwide.
