Hack & Slash

The reels display empty cells with wooden shields bearing an X sign or weapons. When any weapon lands, it hits the monster, removing one of its lives and adding a respin. The number of hits depends on the symbol type: one for the blue spear, two for the green knife, three for the yellow sword, and four for the red axe.

Yet, we should warn you that the hits can't be carried over, so they can't be kept for the next monster. Interestingly, upon landing three non-X symbols, players get five respins. Plus, the weapons can randomly activate the critical hit, removing up to three monsters' lives.

Monsters

At the beginning of the round, monsters appear on the screen one by one, each featuring a certain number of lives displayed as hearts. When the lives are all removed, the monster is killed, which opens a chest with a reward. The monsters who are the 4th, 8th, and 12th in the queue are Bosses, and when a player kills them, they trigger a certain Level Up alongside chests.

The game has 12 monsters continuously appearing when a player kills the previous one. There are three Bosses, and the 12th one pays the highest slot’s potential

Chest Features

When a player kills a monster, the chest that it was guarding brings a certain payout. But we were impressed that the chests can also display extra features:

• Multiplier: The wins are multiplied by 2x to 5x the base bet.
• Respin/Free Spin: Players get +2 respins in the base game or +2 FS during bonus spins.
• Bonus & Super Bonus: The symbol is collected in the bonus inventory, behaving like it landed in the base game.
• Chest Upgrade: The chest is upgraded to a higher level.
• Double Chests: The feature triggers two chests of the same level.
• Shrink Potion: The next monster's lives reset to 1.
• Silver Sword: Every time this weapon beats the monster, it pays 1x to 15x, until this creature is killed.

Chests are revealed when a monster is killed. They bring specific values and may activate extra features like Double Chest

Level Up Features

When a player kills a Boss monster, this activates a certain level-up that remains active throughout the round. The longer you play, the more upgrades you can get since the slot allows players to have up to three Level Up features simultaneously, or up to four during Dungeon Domination Spins. The slot accepts up to two upgrades of the same value. 

• Sticky Multiplier: The multiplier of 2x to 5x applies to the winnings during the current and upcoming rounds. When two such multipliers are applied simultaneously, their values are summed up.
• Extra Chests: When a monster is killed, a player gets an extra chest in addition to the standard one.
• Weapon Upgrade: Upon landing the weapon upgrade symbol, all weapons level up one by one.
• Chest Upgrade: The chest value upgrades to a higher value.
• Golden Sword: A 1x to 15x reward is paid every time it hits a monster, regardless of whether it’s killed or not.
• Attack, Attack, Attack!!: This symbol provides for an extra hit of the monster.

After killing a Boss monster, players get a Level Up feature. Up to three such options are available in the main game, and FS can have one extra upgrade

Dungeon Smackdown Spins

For three Scatters in the base game, players get five Dungeon Smackdown Spins. The progression from the base game transfers to the bonus round, and for each new weapon, the player gets +1 extra spin.

Landing three Scatters activates five Dungeon Smackdown Spins with an opportunity to get +1 respin for each weapon symbol

Dungeon Domination Spins

If you land two regular Scatters and one Super Scatter, this triggers five Dungeon Domination Spins. The progress from the main game also transfers to the bonus round, and the rules are similar to the standard bonus game, except for the opportunity to get the 4th Level-Up feature.

Bonus Buy & Boosters

The developers prepared two Bonus Buy options and four extra boosters, allowing players to start a round with an extra advantage or enter a particular round with more valuable monsters.

• God Mode: It’s the most expensive and rewarding Bonus Buy option, worth 2,500x. The spin begins with the last monster that has nine lives.
• God Mode Nightmare: Players get five spins that begin with the last monster. The feature costs 800x and doesn't allow respins.
• Bonus Symbol Booster: For 2.20x the bet, the Scatter is guaranteed in the bonus inventory.
• Super Bonus Symbol Booster: When the cost is 4x, the Super Scatter is guaranteed for the inventory.
• Boss Fight Booster: By paying 15x the bet, players get a spin with the first Boss with only one life.
• Boosted Chest: This booster costs 70x the bet and guarantees a spin that awards the chest with the highest value when the monster is killed.

The slot has Bonus Buy options and boosters worth 2.20x to 2,500x to let players experience a certain bonus option for this value

Extra Spin

When the round ends, the slot offers players to buy an extra spin to keep the existing progress. The cost will depend on the number of killed monsters, and when this value is less than or equal to the win of the previous spin, the player doesn't pay for the feature. Yet, we find it somewhat unfair that bonus symbols won't appear during this spin if it is not the base game.

Players are prompted to buy an extra spin when the round ends, which can keep the progress entirely
