In short, the film tells a fabulous story that took place on a Ukrainian farm near Dykanka on Christmas Eve. The village blacksmith Vakula, having saddled the devil, brought boots to his beloved Oksana.
Now you can understand what is happening on the reels. A man (Vakula), a woman in a traditional Ukrainian costume (Oksana) and a man with a long mustache (Cossack Chub, Oksana's father) are all premium symbols. Low symbols are the house and the boots that the blacksmith brought to his beloved.
