The Boy Who Cried Wolf RTP and Volatility
The Boy Who Cried Wolf is a high volatility slot with an RTP of 96.00%.
The Return to Player of The Boy Who Cried Wolf is set at 96.00%. which is a fine, average rate for the industry. The volatility, on the other hand, is high, which means that it will be a bit more challenging for you to land on a winning combination, however, when you do land on a combo, the payoff for it will be much bigger than in slots of other volatility levels.
Theme
The Boy Who Cried Wolf takes direct inspiration from Aesop's Fable - The Boy Who Cried Wolf. And seeing how the main character is a little boy, and the story is a fable, stylistically the slot is made in a more cartoony-manner and with a theme similar to that you may find in farm-themed slots. Unfortunately, there is no background music, and the overall design is somewhat simplistic. You have a simple background of the farm, the reels are made of wood, and the symbols also reflect that country theme.
Speaking of symbols, there are quite a lot of those here - 13 in total with 9 regular and 2 specials. The regular symbols are letters from J to A, and these have not only the same value but are also the lowest paying symbols in the slot. Then there are symbols of an apple, corn, carrot, bottle of milk, two sheep, and finally a wolf, who is the highest paying symbol in this game.
The 2 special symbols are Wild and Scatter. The first has a bell and the word “Wild” on it, and what this symbol will do is that it will substitute for all other symbols, except Scatter. The Scatter, on the other hand, will unlock the Free Spins feature if you collect 3 symbols anywhere on the reels.

The difference is that all your bets and wins will be in virtual currency, instead of the actual one.
Max Win
The maximum you can win in The Boy Who Cried Wolf is 1,000x your bet.
As far as maximum reward goes, the max win potential of The Boy Who Cried Wolf is rather low, especially given the slot’s high volatility. On the other hand, you have the Free Game feature, which has a retrigger option, and this gives you a good chance of getting a winning combination.
Overall Rating
All and all, The Boy Who Cried Wolf offers quite an interesting premise and a cute design, but sadly lacks many features that more seasoned players would find captivating. However, if you love fable-themed slots, and prefer more simple-featured games, consider checking out the demo version of this slot, and see how you like it!

Slot’s math is strange, as you can win only x1000 at best with a high variance. Idk if the info about volatility is correct, because it holds balance well and doesn’t posses “swingy” FS. Of course, plain free spins round without enhancers sounds shocking for some players. But I like it! And many old-timers like it too (IMO).
If slot had Turbo Spin, I would have considered it for bonus wagering
